KURBAAN is a 2009 Bollywood film produced by Karan Johar Dharma Productions, under the guise of. The film was the directorial debut director Rensil D'Silva. The film's real life love birds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's first couple together with other actors such as Om Puri, Kher Kiro, Noheed Cyrus, Diya Mirza and Vivek Oberoi in supporting roles. The film is the story of an Indian girl called Avantika Ahuja Kareena Kapoor who is trapped in an underground organization that is responsible for the terrorist attacks in the United States. Box Office movie was a bad answer, even though the chemistry between Saif and Kareena has been well received by critics. The film has received some controversy. Kareena back to reveal the artificial exposed to much criticism that some of the songs from the film, as Shukran Allah and Ali Maula, were part of the dispute.
KURBAAN was Saif and Kareena's first film as the lead couple together, but were not able to bring some magic on the screen, however, Kareena was nominated for Filmfare Best Actress, which is an achievement.
